We had children’s book illustrator, and my mum, Clare Beaton in the Studio last weekend to do a fabric collage session. Everyone was invited to choose an image from Clare’s book ‘Mother Goose Remembers’ which they could then re-create with guidance from Clare using her fabulous selection of beads, vintage fabrics and buttons – with some excellent results, what a talented bunch! Clare will be doing more sessions in July where you can create a picture for a child’s bedroom and even make your own felt from scratch, contact us for further information and keep an eye on the calendar!
